Removing Oven Grease from Kitchen Cabinets
For minor to moderate cases, a good place to start is the all-natural method showcased by One Good Thing by Jillee. This method uses a couple of natural ingredients that are safe to use on all cabinets.
Jillee shows us the natural ingredients she likes to use to remove the grease from her cabinets, two parts baking soda and one part vegetable oil.
She combines the baking soda and the vegetable oil into a thick liquid paste and uses an old toothbrush and the paste to scrub off the gunk that has accumulated around the knobs of her cabinets. Then she simply wipes everything off with a clean cloth and the project is complete. It’s just that simple.

Cleaning Very Thick Grease from Kitchen Cabinets
For more severe cabinet grease accumulation, Ghostes recommends using a wheel cleaner such as this one found in the video below. These types of cleaners are formulated to cut through heavy grease. However, when you first start out, try it in a small, inconspicuous spot of the cabinet first to make sure it doesn’t damage your cabinet’s finish.
Spread the cleaner around on the areas that are stained and use an old toothbrush to scrub off the grease. When you work in between the crevices of your cabinet, try using a plastic scraper.
